Executives
Everyone is an executive or wants to be an executive. Everyone thinks and wants and really truly desires to be an executive in our capitalistic system. This is unfortunate. Where in the process of being a human did you desire to work for a company that you have no relation to, and sell your body but never actually own anything. What do you own executives? Pieces of paper that have worth to buy something? Do you actually own anything, if you don't pay taxes on what you own won't you lose it? Everyone wants to be an executive. The dream is mistaken, the riches, the glamour, the fanciness of the good life, what is the good life? Good food, nice things? It is the title that inspires people, one day I will be an executive of a fortune 500. Give me a break, that title is not only not glamorous, but overall just kinda lame. People wishing to be an executive please make your life worth something more. How much are you worth?

I don't think people actually "want or yearn" to be an executive. There is a pretty rare occurrence to find any child who will tell you that they want to be an executive when they grow it. There comes a time when people just face facts with how the world is and how it functions. We live in a capitalistic world, that is a fact. A job is just a means to an end. It allows you to have the ability to do other things and enjoy life in other ways. But I get what you mean, people that are workaholics, life would be pretty meaningless to work for a company that you do not own or have any compelling reason to invest your full focus into.
