Procrastination

So, I am a college student, and I am sure that I am in no different of a boat than any other student, in the sense that everyone procrastinates assignments and studying to some extent throughout their life. Now sometimes people are better than others at procrastinating, and really take it to the next level, leaving studying just till the last week of school right before Finals, which truly blows my mind. Procrastination is such a strange word. To procrastinate something means to delay something or put it off till another time. I have definitely completed this many times, and I feel great. Unfortunately, it doesn't always feel great. I feel as if some procrastination is always necessary in life to help push someone and get them motivated. What I am really getting to though is why do we procrastinate so hard? Is it all these cool little inventions, like the TV, computer, cell phones, or other random devices that are supposed to make our lives so much easier, but truly help us procrastinate more than we would without them? I understand there are ways of avoiding, but sometimes control can be harder for some people than others. How are your procrastination skills, and do they work on a daily basis?

The best way to get around procrastination is to find a more important task and ignore that one by completing the other.
